How long does it take to receive a copy of your c file? Are there any short cuts you can take or do you just have to wait on the mail?

Took me about a year.  Pre Covid.  Not sure of any shortcuts. Some say claims could hold it up until they are decided.  Oddly enough, I did receive my C File when all my claims we're decided.

It used to hold up claims years ago because it was literally a paper for that had to be collected drink whatever desks in whatever ROs it was spread between. They are digital now but central scanning still has ALK there physical incoming mail for all current claims to work on, too, and it hasn't really slowed.
