Way too early but we can dream.

Social Security Will Pay Out More Money Next Year. Here Is How Much You Could Get

Based on recent data on the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers, a bellwether for changes in prices for goods and services, "It is likely we're going to have a COLA closer to 8% than 3.8%," Social Security Administration chief actuary Stephen Goss said during a briefing last week, CNBC reported.

My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions.

Too bad they can't do a mid-year COLA boost... Or better yet, do a long-needed proper inflation adjustment

Well, in 20 days, half of 2022 will be gone.  So, you can make an arguement with what is known so far.  There is probably not enough time for everything rebound, so I think we will be in for a another good year for ssi, ssdi, VA comp, gov retirements, etc.

But, in the mean time, 30 bucks to fill the lawn mower is getting old,

On a roll.. I don't know about that, what I have read though is that we can look forward to an 8 or 9 percent cost of living increase in 2023. They way things are going I thing that projection  is off by a few points. We will just have to wait and see, and hope we don't go bankrupt in the meantime.
