So, for anyone who knows what is the latest on VA claims for HBP due to AO exposure.  My claim was moving right along and now is stalled at the "gathering evidence" stage.  I already had a C&P exam

and all my records are at the VA. I take four blood pressure meds from the VA.

It falls under PACT now, which are being grouped to be evaluated under PACT starting in Jan 2023 once funding is allocated for PACT act presumptives.

I have heart disease, HBP and diabetes due to AO. I have one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel.  Unless I get a foot cut off I doubt I will get SMC besides the "S" I already have.  However,  I still will file claims for AO conditions regardless.

Hey John, You will be awarded the HTN based on the Pact Act.  There are several secondaries related to HTN. Now do you have DIabetic Neuropathy? That is another ball game.

I do have PN and I am rated highly for it.   I have 40% for each foot and 40% and 30% for upper.   What are other secondaries to HTN?  I probably have them by now.  My left foot is swollen and hurts.  I wake up surprised every day.
