Update On Spokane Vet Deaths
From Larry VA Watchdog: http://www.vawatchdog.org/nfDEC06/nf121406-1.htm Shouldn't other VAMC be sending this info out too????? "The letter advises veterans that their care at a non-VA emergency center might be paid for by the VA. Last year, the Spokane hospital spent nearly $8 million on care for veterans at non-VA facilities, according to a federal audit released in February."

Spent All Day And Night Out At Va
Overall I had a good experience at VA yesterday. The VA in Dallas is improving. I had labs done, saw my VA Primary Doc . did a sleep study and had a Dental Evaluation. Good reports on my blood work and my visit with my Gatekeeper Doc went well she is filling out paperwork to submit my A & A Claim. The VA Counselor I visited to get the form did not even know what it was. Lots of Dental work but I am thinking of getting them cleaned and a couple of fillings and than heading to Mexico to get Dental Implants from my brother in law. I spent a lot of time and was impressed most all the employees actually were friendly and I cannot even tell you how many times I was…

Why Wording And Rationale Of Imo
In a recent BVA decision : "Since Dr. S. A. G.'s opinions are not supported by the scientific literature she submitted as a basis for her opinion, they lack significant probative value. See Bloom, 12 Vet. App. at 187" The VA opinion was decribed thus: "In contrast, the January 2006 IME's opinion indicates that prior to formulating his conclusion, he completed a full review of the claims file, along with an extensive search for, and review of, relevant literature.
