Va Dentist
I called the VA dental and tried to get an appointment to see about a crown. They just blew me off. I got an appointment today because I called up and told them I had a toothache. Peter53 told me this a few years ago I think and I remembered it. If you have a toothache then they have to see you, otherwise, they can just tell you that you have to wait 6 months.

My dentist told me that the reason I have lost most of my teeth is due to DMII perotadontal (sp) disease. Would that be an entitlement to dental benefits?? (assuming DMII is service connected) thanks again, Rick

Appeal Procress Advice
Hi All, I received my 30% disability rating for my wrist problem and flat feet with hammer toes and bunons. They rated the bunon and hammer toes on each foot at 10% and 20 % for wrist with VA math = 30%. I sumbitted a NOD and since then went to my SO and I provided him with additional medical evidence from my 2 foot doctors that say my feet are so bad I need to have a sit down job. I was rated as GAF 60. THe SO felt that I should not give the VARO a letter that a wrote or the doctors note. He said it would be better to wait for the SOC and the Form 9. I disagreed w/ him and turned it all in with a new claim of back pain secondary to my feet condition. I also fo…

Letter
Hi. If someone has a letter that they have written pertaining to suicide thoughts, should this be given to the shrink and is so, what would they do with it? Would they put it in your file or what? Also, is you have a C&P for a mental increase, should this be taken to the exam? Oh, the letter is about 1 1/2 yrs old, would that matter? Thanks

tdiu Tdiu
I am currently a 50% combined and have two claims for reconsideration pending. MY PCP at the VA wants me to file for SS disability (said he would write me a good letter recommending). I plan on filing for TDIU, I need some clarifiaction on part of the policy: 4.16 Total disability ratings for compensation based on unemployability of the individual. (a) For the above purpose of one 60 percent disability, or one 40 percent disability in combination, the following will be considered as one disability: (2) Disabilities resulting from common etiology or a single accident, I have 40% combined on my back and arm from injuries I received in a MV accident. Va Comp And Ssdi
Dear Fellow Veterans & Friends. I know the commission is wanting to review SSDI and VA comp to cut back paymente to veterans. However instead of viewing the two as doubel dipping for the same disablity. It should be noted that neither VA comp or SSDI are enough in and of themselfs to adiqutly take care of a vet. I think the VA has for years relied on SSDI and other vets incomes to take care of there responciblity and its now time for the VA to step up to the plate and incress our comp so others dont have to do take on there responociblty. Lets face it in todays economey, A VA check covers a house payment. So many vets would have there lives turned ups…
