ptsd Disablity Review Commisson
Dear Fellow Veteran & Friends. The disablity reveiw commission stated it does not intent to cut or offset SSDI or VA comp. However it goes on to say it wants to study SSDI and VA payments for the same disablity. I belive they want to look at those two and declare there is doubel dipping for the same disablity and that should be cult out. Im sure what wont be studyed is. In the ORlando area it cost $275K for the average home. SSDI and VA comp dont pay enough for me and my kids to afford an average home. They should look at the tottal cost of liveing and maybe adjust upward the VA comp so vets can afford to live off of VA comp if that is there plan. …

ptsd Jury Duty?
I recently got a letter that says I've come up for county jury duty. My VA rating is 90%, the breakdown is: 70% PTSD/MDD 50% bilateral hearing loss 10% tinnitus 10% L knee injury 10% L knee degenerative osteoarthritis While I'm sure the knee is irrelevant to them, I thought the fact that my hearing is almost gone and my word comprehension tests rate me at 60% might eliminate me from their list BUT....they note that the offer the orientation captioned and in large print! What do they think people needing these aids will be able to do in court? I might also note here that while I am sorely in need of it, I have not made the first step toward learning sign lang…

Cp Examiners Take
Does the VA clerks who do the compensation rely heavily on the CP Examiners Opinion. I say this as I got a very good CP Examiner and his take was much better than the other Doctors and more precise. Would the clerks go against the examiners call if it were positive for the veteran? Thanks

An Ro Rating Question
Hi Everyone, When I filled out my first "statement of claim", I wrote down that I was having problems with my knees, I did not give any diagnoses from other doctors. Is it true that if one does not put down on the "statement of claim" any medical conditions that VA or a Civ. doctor just happen to find, VA does not have to award you that condition?. In other words "you did not file it, we do not award it" (even when VA found it). I also noticed that while going thru my c-file, the only "RO rating notes" was on my knees. No other conditions had a "RO rating notes" (i.e. Arthritis, multiple joint DJD, Hips, kneck, hands, depression/stress). Does the RO have t…
