How Is Developtment For Appeal To The Bva
If I should have to appeal to the BVA, how different is developimg an appeal to the BVA different from a statemnent in support of claim and/or appeal of the VARO's decision? Is their a guide to what must be in your appeal to the BVA? Is it just your argument of the information found in the SOC say why you think the VARO is wrong and why you should be SC? Jim S.

Winning Your Va Claim For Service Connection
Excerpt "You finally decided to file a VA claim for disability, so now what do you do? Maybe you already have started the paperwork yourself or have been helped by a veteran rep filling out the required VA Forms and are now one of many waiting to hear from the VA about your claims status. If you haven’t figured it out by now, it’s time to realize that you are involved in a giant paper shuffle and this IS NOT a spectator sport." ptsd ? On Filing An Increase... Back Pain, And Sciatica Has Grown Worse
Hello there, I'm currently rated at 50% for PTSD, and 30% for DDD of the lumbar and thorac spine. 10% for tinunits and another 10% for a compression fracture. Recently (past year) both of my legs have gone numb with my feet. I had an EMG last month that showed nerve damage to my right foot. I also have had an MRI done that shows cervical problems as well. I was denied back in 2003 for Neck Strain, but I have found in my records where the doctor stated that I problably had radiculopathy caused by the neck. I don't know whether to file for an increase including the neck as secondary, or as a service connected because I have found several records in my Service Records …

ptsd Sample Stress Letters?
Hi I am helping a Vietnam Vet with his PTSD claim (new). Can anyone give me some samples of some stressor letters so I give him some pointers on how to write an appropriate letter? Any other pointers for him would be appreciated too. Does the VA have some new very long form they make vets fill out? 21-256? Is this new requirement? I don't remember filling it out myself when I had my SC claim. Thanks.

ptsd Dismantling Va
Dismantling VA Larry Scott | September 29, 2005 The Senator's aide chuckled rather loudly and said, "What VA? By the time this administration is done there won't be a VA." Our conversation had begun with a discussion of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA's) healthcare budget, and quickly came down to a single, simple point. VA is being dismantled. Three reasons why the administration would want to dismantle VA immediately come to mind: VA is a large-scale, publicly funded healthcare system that works: VA works so well it has been used as a model to push the case for nationalized healthcare; something that strikes fear in the heart of every Republican. Need A Va Reg For Math
If someone is serviced connected at 50% for sleep apnea and 10% for hearing loss I know in VA math that is 55% but is 55% round up to 60 % or down to 50%. I am jelping one of my students who is SC for Sleep apena at 50 percent and titunits and 10 percent and is rated at 50 Percent. If it is 60 percent where in the reg does anybody know? Want to help this kid out. Thanks Jim "The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation." - George Washington

diabetes Still Being Droed
My husband's file was immediately returned to the VARO- when they realised they (the local VAMC)not only cant give a dead vet a C & P but they apparently have no doctor there who has the expertise to diagnose diabetes- (that is- no one there who can provide a quack opinion against a preponderance of medical evidence) My vet rep is very very supportive (after a BIG rigamorale as to my POA-long story) and he suggested they get an expert doctor in VA Buffalo -OK there too- The odd part -and I have his full support on this too- is that I have not been given any weight at all to my medical evidence-under 38 USC 5107 ( by the newby DRO. He fully agrees that I shou…

Hearing At Va
I was wondering if bringing my wife along to my hearing at the VA would help my cause. If they ask me how I got there I can say my wife had to drive me because of the side effects of VA medications. The hearing is about my DMII and PN. VA is trying to say my PN preceded my DMII so it is not secondary.

Change In Award After Completing Iu Application
At the VA's request in July 2005 I went for my review of my disablity. As a result my rating went from 50% to 70% and I was asked to complete the application for IU since my disablity affects my employment in the main stream of society. I am self-employed with a net income in 2004 of $3,882. My schedule C was attached to the application. All questions honestly answered. I have heard nothing from the VA as of today but tonight checked my "RAS" online and my pay has been changed. My VA Waiver is less than it was at 50% and now I have taxable income effective Nov. 1, 2005. What happened? Too late to call my VFW rep today. Any input would be appreciated. I am…
