Just an update. Still no news on ebenefits. I am not sure if I will see any since the appeal part is down. Any idea if this is normal? That is getting the letter from the VLJ and nothing showing up on Ebennies. Or does the letter just mean I have to wait on my regional office now?

I got my packet from the appeals board stating the VLJ ordered a 30% increase, up from 10%. I still haven't seen anything change in ebenefits. Now I probably won't see it until September according to ebenefits...SMH Good luck Zeke. Thank you for your service.

I know the feeling. I am still waiting as well. I received my letter from the VLJ in my favor on June 8, and still have not seen anything on ebenefits. I am in the last stage, complete I think. Good luck to you. I pray this will be a fast process for you. Thank you for your service.

Thank you. I just wasn't sure if this was an actual award, or if I still had to go through the hoops. The letter was dated June 4, and stated it had to go through the VRO.

So I won my appeal. I was awarded a 30% increase from 10% for my ulcerative colitis. The 10% rating was effective May of 2010. The Veterans Law Judge from the Board of Veteran's Appeals ordered " A 30 percent rating, but no more, for colitis, subject to the laws and regulations governing the payment of monetary benefits." I am curious when and if I will see an increase. Before this rating I was 40% service connected. 20%+10%+10%+10%. So my questions are: 1. Will I get retro back to 2010? 2. Will I get an increase per VA math? 3. When is it possible for me to see any of this? Thank you for your time.

I too served in Iraq. I have colitis.

I submitted my claim in May 2010. I received a call from my Vet Services rep in December stating my claim was at the rating board as of 11/22/2011. Still shows on Ebenefits and call center as review of evidence. Needless to say one hand is not talking to the other.
