Vet had a case,last four years Before the Board of Veterans Appeals. He asked me to find out about his claim,as the DAV had not returned his phone calls at all, an the VA operator always told him they were working on it. I sent an IRIS,and in 5 days got a response. NOT what he wanted to hear,but instead he was told that his case had been remanded back to the DRO in New Orleans. No reason,just a letter saying that,and that his case would take time,as it was placed on the list,bottom?again. They did not ask for more information,nothing. He (VET) was shot in eye,service connected,has lost most of sight,got 30% comp-appealed it,now remanded. His eye has gotten a lot worse from when he filed his last claim,has glocoma,cataracts,headaches,always crys,and now depression has set in. Should he Now file for the new problems as secondary claims,AND Unimployability-as it now appears that his case will take years anyway???? He is on SS,with a lot of problems,an will never work again.

been KNOWING HIM FOR SOME TIME. HE GOT THE letters SAYING THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON HIS CASE,ECT!! DAV is the one who filed the claim-but he has tried calling then,wrote them(DAV) requesting status of his claim-no answer. Until I sent IRIS- Got answer in 5 days,but not what he was hoping for. Vet had a case,last 4 years,in Washington. I sent IRIS-----This is response he got. No word ever before this. Vet just got letter,stating that his appeals was remanded back to your Regional office from the Board of Veterans Appeals. Says Currently your appeal is pending review with the Decision Review Officer.During this process,the DRO will review all evidence,arguments,statements from your representative,and any other pertinent information as it relates to your claim. We are unable to give you a time frame when this will be complete as the DRO reviews Claims in the ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED. He was shot in eye,received 30%-but has had all kinds of problems in the last 4 years-where his eye has gotten worse,now has glocomma,had cataract removed,his eye is always crying,depressed. He is on SS Disability-from other things-he is all banged up=will never work again.///// Should he go ahead an file for Secondary Conditions-Plus unemployability as it appears that his case will take a long time with the DRO anyway???? PLEASE HELP ME SEE WHICH WAY TO GO FROM HERE!!!!! HELP PLEASE !!! Can you move this post to Claim-Compensation where it will be read by more people

Berta, Yes,they enclosed VCAA response form- They asked that I send in any Record that I had not turned in before or tell they where to get it. Been sending them info as I got it-so I hsve nothing new. They showed all dates I sent in info,so they did get it!!

I worked all my claims,from the first 10%,to 30%-40%- then 100%-now this. I was told that I would never get more then 10%( Service Officers)

Berta, I am TDIU-P&T for last 2 years. I filed for EED,as I only got 12 months back pay,an I figure they owe me 6 years. Just got VCAA letter,and returned today on the EED Claim. I got 2 envelopes from Regional,one with award foe ED,and one with VACC notice-Same Day.

NO GIVE AWAY!! I had to go for a C&P- he(Doctor)kept me for over 2 hrs. in exam room. Checked me over like hell,asked a hundred questions.Very personal questions. But for extra $90. + $ a month,what the Hell!!

Got two letters from VA today- One an award for ED! Another Letter- with a VCAA Form--for EED claim-filed many years ago! They owe me years of back payments for PTSD at 100%. I do not hear from them at all for years, then two letters in one day,and on different subjects!!!!

Just got letter-awarded for ED -Post Tramatic Stress related- With $3330. in backpay.

Veteran sent in for unimployability- after 3 years,he gets VCCA form,Fills it,returns it. Then 2 or 3 months later, today he gets another form-- its called a Vazquez-Flores v Peake(2008) Notice Response form-to be signed and returned! What up with this form???

Just got letter- Awarded ED from-Post Tramatic Stress Disorder.and deposit of 3300.00 in Back pay!

Can someone on Pension -A&A- also get Independent Living(Need Bathroom upgrades) He has to go in his bathroom side ways,an the shower is also much too small for his size(377#) Help Please!!!!

A long time ago,I filed a Claim for ED-EED. Today I got the Big Envelope,and boy was there a lot a Bulls--t,mistake,and twisted logic. They never talked about EED Claim. On the ED claim,this is what they wrote: What do we still need from you? 1. We need evidence showing that the following conditions(s) exited from military service to the present time. erectile dysfunction secondary to PTSD I filed for ED,secondary to PTSD,my Pyc Dr. wrote that the ED was MOST Likely caused by the PTSD Trama,--(Most likely) SO Why do they need info from service????

I have a Vet in in Eunice,La. who called VA- was told the Line- if its an emergency,Call 911!!!!!! Well,he was havinh Congestive Heart failure,an double pneunina/plursy. So,He went to the local Hospital,for care,and then HE called Fee Basis. He was told that the <VA WOULD NOT PAY THE HOSPIAL BILL > The VA tellS Him -to go get emergency care,then say they won't pay. THE HOSPITAL ALSO CALLED THEM. Now this Vet is on A&A,Plus the Hospital in Alexandria,and Shreport,La. told Him(hospital in Eunice) that they HAD NO ROOMS to Accept at either Hospitals. Now that is taking care of our Veterans!!!!! Yesterday,after three day I picked up my Vet,and he went home,no better then when he went in,Went home to Die???? Got Him Nursing 3 times a week,plus some one to go cleane his house an cook for him. The Doctors Discharged him,an said there was nothing they could do,and to keep trying to get into the VA Hospital as soon as they had a Room. IF HE DIES,tHEY SET THEMSELVES UP FOR A lAWSUIT,BIG TIME.!!!

I will not file anything until I get answer on the claims for ED & EED. If I do not get it I will NOD .! The Doctor said (The ED is MOST likely the result of Mr.____ PTSD! EED,I feel that they owe Me YEARS of back Pay. Well I will see what develops.

Well,I recieved an additional 20%, this time for my left shoulder. This claim was assocoated with my PTSD Claim.Will Not change my % as I an already getting 70% PTSD-10% Tinnitis-10% Athletic feet- now 20% for lefft Shoulder. !! The one I have been waiting for more then 24 months,ED and EED -they are being (A--holes)about NOT REVIEWING these for over 2 years. But hell,I plan to be around,to Keep on sending in More Claims,until they Consider EACH an Every One of Them,

Alex, If you have 30%-+-30% You have a 50% Disability- So if that info is correct-Write them a letter-Showing their mistake in the % !!! They OWE YOU SOME MONEY!!!
