  1. Man im already on everything. SSDI approved 3 months ago. My son also gets paid from ssdi claim. So now I am 100 PT and SSDI. Doing very well financially now.
  2. Thank You for the blessings Buck. Lets just say the Power of the Voc Rehab Feasibility Letter along with good DBQ and employment problems is golden. It does not matter in my opinion what education age etc. etc. one is. Also Mental Health IU does not mean one will be believed to improve as my award has proven that. Many Veterans believe this as well. Bless all and I will continue to fight on for my fellow veterans to never give up if you struggle with mental health issues. Put in that claim, and for goodness sakes get a Vocational Rehab Opinon. THAT IS GOLDEN ALWAYS!
  3. UPDATE: I was just awarded 100% P&T. Let no one deter you Veterans.
  4. I am posting this to encourage other vets. I was just awarded P&T 100 IU for Mental Health. I have been told you will not get P&T for Mental Health. I have also been told due to my recent graduation of Voc Rehab prior to my IU claim, which I submitted due to receiving a Feasibility Letter upon graduation, that I would most likely be denied IU. Do not let anything stop you if you cannot maintain feasibility. Apply especially if you receive a Feasiblity Letter from Voc Rehab. I want to thank Gastone from this site. Hadit.com has been a tremendous blessing. Bless all. I am going to enjoy finally owning a home.
  5. Buck no they say it is stated correctly. LOL. They say it clearly shows the 25% off for dependents are only for active duty. Again that is not how I read it but oh well right.
  6. I spoke with management today. They were not understanding my confusion. When I read the posting i read it as Veterans and veterans dependents all get the 25% off. At least that is how I read it.
  7. As a Veteran yesterday I went to a waterpark with the family. I was very unimpressed with how this business advertises there Military/Veteran discounts. When I read this it is amazing to me that this business has been running for 45 years with not ONE other Veteran addressing this. At least that is what the business states. I am posting this for others to read and please can other vets tell me what you believe it states? military/veteran discount ADMISSION Active Duty - FREE - We thank you for your service! Military Dependents - 25% off General Admission Veterans - 25% off General Admission Only available for purchase at the park Must present valid military ID to receive discount
  8. So far my IU Claim has been to 4 different regions. Lets see how many more before it is decided. LOL
  9. Also funny thing is I was not looking for any of this, it all happened then I talked with other members of hadit that suggested i talk with VR Counselor to communicate what was going on with me. I did this then was told the VR Feasibility Letter is Golden evidence and to submit that and apply for IU. Since I have been terminated from another employer prior to the IU claim, as well as my IBS and depression causing havoc both which are SC. Forward to today, I almost wish I had not even put in for the IU as it is all making me feel even more anxiety and depression due to me worrying about it all. I felt like it was being laid at my feet to submit IU, to get better and take care of myself and son, but now I am feeling that that plan along with the VR letter is all a bunch of bullshit. Either it is all strong proof which I did not ask to be the way I am, or all of this evidence is xxxxxxx bullshit right! I am venting just very stressed about it all. Hope it is over soon.
  10. I understand all of what everyone is saying, i also agree. My point is I have the VR Letter submitted with the claim, SSDI awarded and I have Doctor Opinion from that stating I cannot maintain employment, as well as a current psych doctor statements nexus she is going to write me. All of this is very strong proof of current SC Depression State. I am waiting for the decision that should be very soon. If not approved I will submit the SSDI evidence as well as the current psych nexus statement.
  11. Buck I already stated I have the VR Feasibility Letter submitted with my IU claim. I already have been given the increase. The IU will be decided within the next month
  12. Yes very true. Just to be clear let me say again UPON Graduation of Voc Rehab that is when I sat down with VRC and discussed my current MH and my VRC then checked my medical and decided I was at this time not able to maintain feasible employment. My VRC did not give me a letter and then i continued on VR.
  13. What provisions are you speaking of Buck. You indicate your thoughts clearly that you believe I will be denied. Anyways take care Buck.
  14. Lol who is arguing. Brother you are showing your lack of knowledgable facts. I have posted the facts. You continue assuming with your beliefs. I tell you the final time I WILL BE APPROVED you will see. And again the FACT as stated in the letter is I was deferred for medical. The person that I have guiding me is knowledgable backed with 7 for 7 results with vets he has helped. By the way are you IU?
  15. Buck did you read the Notes from my posting. This comes directly from the M21. Read the final bullet point which destroys your assumption or a raters possibility of thinking such. (When IU is claimed following a completed program of rehabilitation, pay special attention to evidence of program results that indicate the Veteran's ability and willingness to engage in a substantially gainful occupation.)
  16. I recently talked with an evaluator for Total Disability Individual Unemployability (TDIU). The VA examiner, a friendly chap, had some confusion about what the Dept of Veterans Affairs was looking for in finding disabled veterans qualified for Total Disability Individual Unemployability ratings. Here is the list of the top five reasons he thought would disqualify disabled veterans. They all center around whether or not disabled veterans could be temporarily qualified for Individual Unemployability. He thought, “No.” The VA General Counsel says, “Yes.” WHAT VA ACTUALLY SAYS ABOUT TDIU Section 4.16 of title 38, Code of Federal Regulations, authorizes the Department of Veterans Affairs to assign a total rating based on individual unemployability (TDIU rating) based upon a veteran’s temporary (i.e., non-permanent) inability to follow a substantially gainful occupation… TDIU ALTERNATIVE FACTS FROM VA MEDICAL EXAMINER Here, the VA examiner I spoke with made the following claims: Having a theory of future employment, post-rehabilitation disqualifies veterans seeking individual unemployability because they think they will get a job at some point A college degree means veteran is employable Attending college is the same, or about the same, as having a job Ability to have a job prevents TDIU determination Shy of being a basket case, veteran could find some employment RELATED: Voc Rehab Counselors Pushing Veterans Out Of Chapter 31 FIRST INDIVIDUAL UNEMPLOYABILITY MISCONCEPTION First. There is no doubt that intelligence will allow any veteran a fighting chance at doing well in college. But college performance alone does not equal good employment performance or mean the disabled veteran will have an ability to get an offer after an interview or to land an interview. Irrational exuberance at the prospect of future employment seems more like a theoretical hope than a practical conclusion. No one can tell the future without a crystal ball, at least for me. Accordingly, the VA examiner’s conclusion must be based on practical footing rather than based on a “mere theoretical ability to engage in substantial gainful employment…” Timmerman v. Weinberger, 510 F.2d 439, 442 (8th Cir. 1975). This means the examiner’s “theory” of being employable in the future does not pass the legal precedent requiring VA to draw a “practical conclusion.”
  17. It is not a question of not believing you i just think that this is your assumption and opinion. Do you know DGastone on this site? He is very knowledgable and has walked me through all of the claim. He said the graduation does not matter. The Feasibility Letter is golden no matter when it is obtained. His opinion as well I suppose. But the fact is I was deferred for Medical Reasons
  18. How do you come up with this? Your speaking from your opinion. Again the Rater cannot make a determination to my IU claim due to my attending college. It is not hard to understand that my SC grew to the point that I was terminated by employer and still was able to finish college. But the VR Counselor is very knowledgable and is not going to write a feasibility letter if it does not apply. The letter is very well written and backed up with facts. Anyways take care doc (5).doc
  19. Thank You for clearing that up.
  20. Wrong Buck. The rater is not allowed to use Education or attending college as a reason to deny my IU. The Feasibility Letter states my SC grew to the point where I cannot maintain feasible employment. I am positive I will get the IU. But I understand your thinking as other vets believe as you do which is totally false.
  21. Sorry Buck still getting the Abbreviations down lol. What is EED? And I am staying at it and positive. I believe in the end I will be IU. Funny shit is I was terminated from employer working for the VA Hospital. Even though I am a Disabled Veteran they still terminated me without even speaking with me.
  22. Yes the moment i received that Feasibility Letter I put the IU Claim in. Still think it is Bullshit that my rater deferred with the Feasibility Letter in hand and all. Im not sure that even though I graduated, upon graduation I was found to not be able to maintain feasible employment and not able to do the employment search part. My VR Counselor decided this by looking at my VA records and seeing my MH state has grown much worse and I was terminated by employer. He then said I am writing you a Feasibility Letter as employers will not hire you at this time. So but IF I am denied that SSDI award letter and medical opinion should seal the deal if they feel i do not have strong medical opinion. Also a statement from current PSYCH Dr.
  23. Also JMO I was awarded SSDI 2 months ago and have all medical evidence from that which are the same SC conditions I applied for SSDI and was approved. Again I am told by a wise Hadit member the same one that walked me through the IU Claim that I need to not submit the SSDI paperwork unless denied IU. Use that for Reconsideration. I also have a current Psych Dr that is very willing to submit a statement as to my SC preventing me from gainful employment.
  24. JMO. Here is a good one. Ok my IU was deferred and I was given an increase at the same time. Now after receiving a VOC Rehab Feasibility Letter I decided to put in for the IU. So then are you telling me that even though the Gold Standard Feasibility Letter was submitted with my IU claim that somehow it was not Gold Standard in my IU Claim and that I need more medical proof? Another member on here walked me through the beginning of the claim due to the Feasibility Letter. He tells me the deferred only means that they will decide later and that my FDC IU claim is still under 6 months and will most likely be approved.
  25. So the deferred was always eventually decided correct? That is what I understand deferred means. And sorry but I have never heard anyone filing a claim for Acne.
