  1. Applied for SAH. Submitted EBennie 6-11-19
  2. Will do. I am seeing my updated status looks like i will be approved for 3 grants. I would tell other P&T vets to apply if they own a home. The VA writes the SHA to appear only vets who are blind or without a limb to only be the qualification for SHA approval. I put in for the SHA anyways which is worth the try since I am P&T. THIS IS THE STATUS Specially Adapted Housing Entitlement Maximum grants allowed: 3 Grants used so far: 0 Maximum grant amount allowed: 17130 (AH Type Grant) or 85645 (PH Type Grant) Grant amount used so far: 0.0 Grant amount remaining: Max Current rating code: Not Assigned Currently Active Grant Grant Number: N\/A Reference Number: 190691 Application Date: Recent Status: Waiting for the Veteran Service Center to provide rating information.
  3. I am P&T and a decision is about to be made.
  4. Curious has anyone been approved SHA while TDIU?

    C&P

Finally getting C&P done on both TMJ and Bruxism. Of course it is going to be done by QTC. BULLSHIT. Anyways when its completed it will all be worth it.
  6. Never chance going for scheduler. Once you do that it opens everything up to be re-evaluated. I am told that usually a vet loses the TDIU. Not worth it. Here is a suggestion that i use. If you want to increase pay file for SMK. Sure it is only an extra 109 a month but it does not open you up for re-evals. Many vets make the mistake by going for scheduler only to lose the TDIU. If you have been TDIU for 10 years I would encourage to study hard on the facts. Many things come into factor to protect your TDIU such as age etc. etc. I would not worry about it and enjoy life.
  7. Thanks for the info. Im still waiting to get an appointment. Not sure what the heck is the hold up. Im about to contact my Regional to get an answer.
  8. Has anyone ever heard of Vet Fed? They are doing my Dental Evaluation even though VA Dental is showing my issues.
  9. Anyone know of help with closing cost for TDIU Veteran?
  10. Ray if you could get that VR Feasibilty Denial Letter you will have all you need for your IU claim.
  11. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE STATUS OF GEORGE A.K.A. HADIT MEMBER GASTONE? I AM WORRIED ABOUT HIM
  12. TK you can see work in progress on ebenefits by clicking on disabilities. When you get into disabilities you will see claims and you can click on the claim appeal to see the status
  13. Is there anyone else reading the message The Open Claims feature has moved to VA.gov on the OPEN CLAIMS section on E-Benefits. I started to see this the other day. I can still see my open claim if i click on Disabilities in e-benefits but the actual open claim button says moved to VA.Gov. Ummm BULLSHIT
  14. Thanks Buck. Yeah I am getting the information from Regional Office locally. The person telling me I have no scheduled re-exams showing is a very longtime high in the chain of command. He looked it up and stated no future re-exams. Now...This is what I understand I think. What I am understanding is that there could be shceduled future exams put in my file down the road. IS THIS CORRECT?? Again the Regional Office guy looking tells me I will not have future re-exams.
  15. I understand all of what you are sending me Buck. Thanks. I am just wondering when if at all a re- evaluation will come up. I am still showing in my C-File no future re-exams and my VSO again tells me I will not be re-evaluated. Still some tell me otherwise that there will be a date put in my cfile in the future. Ok well I guess I continue checking on that.
  16. Out of curiosity, has anyone on Hadit, been re=evaluated after being awarded TDIU Total and Perminant? I am told my cfile at some point will show a future re eval date. Regional locally tells me my cfile still shows no future exams shown.
  17. Fellow Veteran brothers and sisters. I want to make sure I tell all of you how important Voc Rehab is if you are struggling. If any of you are having trouble finishing the program, or are denied in the program, or are needing to take a break due to your Service Connected Disabilities interfering or getting worse, Please keep this in mind. I was at 70% when I started Voc Rehab Chapter 31. Upon graduation which i barely finished as my SC Depression was at an all time worse, just lost another job 3 months prior to graduating. I then discovered this site and met one particular member that helped me to stay positive. That member also explained that I had options and could ask the VR Counselor for help by realizing I could no longer seek employment. I had for many years went from job to job after Military. Long story short, in 2015 was finally awarded SC at 70%. I then upon graduation talked with my VR Counselor and he agreed I was not able to seek feasible employment and I requested that in writing. I then submitted an IU claim and also applied for SSDI. 6 months later i was awarded both. The most important thing out of this is for those in a similar position there is a light at the end of your struggles. It just takes seeking answers and willingness to do the steps to get the right info and proof. For me it was that Vocational Rehab Feasibility Letter that showed both the VA and SSDI that my Depression service connected was a major obstacle in why I could not ever keep a job for long. Today I am able now to focus on my health. Never give up and seek those on here that know the FACTS and know how to lead you. Blessings.
  18. I just put in for Bruxism/TMJ. I have been going to VA Dental for 3 years now. They are aware of the severe teeth grinding and Jaw pain. I was given a new Mouthpiece which will help with grinding but still have pain in jaw. I am TDIU and since depression is my major SC I have now put in for Bruxism secondary to depression. I also put in for Secondary ED from my Anti Depressants and was awarded that last month. Wondering if anyone else has put in for Bruxism secondary to depression? I see most of the Bruxism claims are for secondary to PTSD which I was not awarded but sure the hell should be, but oh well I am TDIU anyways with no future exams. They must have really seen my history of job after job.
  19. If you are 80% get that Voc Rehab eval done asap. If truly IU the VR Counselor will deny you into the program. If they deny ask for that in writing. Submit that with IU claim. Do not worry about anything else just get that letter.
  20. 4. If the VRC determines that achievement of a vocational goal is not currently reasonably feasible, and the Veteran has an SEH, the VRC will evaluate the Veteran for an Individual Independent Living Plan (IILP). For more information on how to develop and administer an IILP, see M28R.IV.C.9. 5. If the VRC determines that achievement of a vocational goal is not currently reasonably feasible and the individual is a Servicemember, the Servicemember can receive IL services under Pub. L. 110-181, NDAA. e. Required Documentation to Veterans Service Center (VSC) The VRC must provide the VSC with a copy of the VAF 28-1902b when the Veteran or Servicemember’s SCD is less than 100 percent. The VSC rating board will reconsider the Veteran or Servicemember’s rating if the infeasibility finding is based on factors associated with the SCD. Note: The Veteran or Servicemember may also request a letter from the VRC stating that a determination has been made that the achievement of a vocational goal is not currently reasonably feasible. After receipt, the Veteran may choose to submit the letter to the VSC

  22. Ok now what? You do not sound as though you are truly IU. You state you feel much better and look to work in the near future correct?
  23. Makes a huge difference if one has a Vocational Expert Feasibility Opinion. Sure did with my case and fellow Vet buddies.
