thats not all that sucks . i am back at my ro and they have never done anything for me ,they have caused me all the pain i have had to endire getting service connected. i sure hope they do not take away any of my already hard earned benefits. they are noted for their callous decisions.

i have an so but she tells me they will tell you anything and says wait on letter to contact her. i feel i am being jerked around like a ragdoll and am sick of it!!! you know they cannot keep up with anything,i have been thru this before and it is not new to me. but waiting on letter giving innocent post office hell and it roller coasts on you. things build up i am very disgusted with them. after all the years they have had to get it right they cant find their ass from a hole in the ground.

if you will remember i told everybody claim decided and letter sent . after watching for the mail for about two weeks i got uneasy and sent another iris and now they are saying claim is not at appeals management any more ,but at varo. said it appears more development needed to decide claims. even vso said on her screen claim approved. talk about a let down and all the anxiety watching for a letter in the mail has about drove me nuts. why cant these people get something so simple right?

i get hydrocodone for my pain and what is the rule you are talking about ? i have not heard of it . i know my doc. asks if i go to another doc. which i do not. and i saw where they checked blood for any other meds.i do not go to another doc ,but have had the same problem of running out. the meds have been late and i cannot sleep without them because of the pain.

takes a man to admit his mistakes . most of people on hadit are suffering from one ailment or another. a lot of the members are in pain emotionally and physically. they understand . i personally think you are a very good guy and hope you the best.

not talking about anyone here on hadit. but i would like to know if a discharge has been upgraded under similar circumstances . i am talking about fair play. if i can find where someone has an upgrade with circumstances same as mine i am going to want to know why that persons discharge is upgraded and mine not. i cannot afford a high paying lawyer or a low paying lawyer. i do not "know anybody" who can pull strings for me. and i did not like the tone of the letter sent to me denying my upgrade. said we regret at first and from there on seemed more like glee to me. i am not sure i am going to fight them,but they did p--- me off,and i might call their hand. i have a little investigating to do first and appreciate all the info wings and everybody i can get.

i would like to know where i could find out where decisions were made on discharge upgrades. i would like to research this to see if some one else has had a discharge upgrade with circumstances similar to mine. i am sure there have been upgrades where people have had a lot more against them than i have. the old "know somebody routine " or similar circumstances. if someone else can get their discharge upgraded i do not see any reason why i cannot. i do know some people have had to fight like hell and have had it done the hard way and deserved an upgrade. i believe i should qualify for an upgrade also. i just would like to find a similar case.

well if i decide to contest ,which i really do not have to as i am considered honorable,i am going to hit them right between the eyes . i can and will get senators congressman etc to fight it,but is it worth the worry and headache? you know i just thought they would be decent and i can give them hell if i want to pursue it. waiting on decision for increase claim if that turns out ok i will prabably just write them a letter of shame and tell them to go f--- themselves.

i got my decision on my discharge upgrade and sucks. seems like department of the army is as cold blooded as the rest of the bunch. one of their facts is erroneous,saying could not find when hospitalized in vietnam and i have the records in my hand . looks like if i want to pursue this i have got to "know somebody". i am going to check and see if anyone else has had their discharge upgraded under the same circumstances. if they have i am going to raise holy hell. i am not sure i want to waste my time on this. i thought i could appeal to their sense of compassion and decency,however looks like that doesn't work.

except for a claim in 1971 where i did not even have a c and p exam in my case it was crucial to winning. i have found out if the c and p examiner can make or break your case.

thanx wings hadit has really helped me keep my sanity through all this if i did not do ok i am going with a lawyer. i have one standing by giving me 90 days to respond ,and i am well within the one year time limit for a nod. i know i havent contributed much in the way of knowledge to this wonderful site ,but it sure helps to talk to people in the same boat.

wow i just got an iris saying decision made and letter has been mailed ! i only can pray they did me right. i cant believe this went this fast.

my wife is scheduled for surgery feb 17,doc says looks good. however we depended on her salary to make ends meet. i am trying to see if i can have claim expedited due to hardship. anybody have any luck doing this and what is procedure? i tried to search for it on search ,but could not find similar circumstances.

i would like to know details of this vet. it is sickening if they have done this to him. wounded in vietnam and in a wheel chair , heads should roll and their names plastered in news outlets the people who did not approve his claim for 35 years. i believe it is ass kicking time concerning this guys plight if what i suspect has been going on. that is the way they have done vietnam vets from day one !! we were always at the bottom of the list!!!!!!!!!!!!

been trying to call 1-866-258-0341 the number at amc and get a recording ,cannot get an update on claim at that number . have they changed the system?

ruby i had problems on firefox browser to get it . i went to internet explorer and got on windows update ,and in search pane searched for it and it was listed 2003 excel viewer and did not have to have excel installed . it downlaoded and worked fine ,for some reason i had problems on firefox browser.

man that makes me mad!!! this guy was wounded in vietnam and is not (sc) in a wheel chair!! that cleveland office should be tore apart and investigated. i went through there and i have no respect for them what so ever. this is an outrage for vietnam vets!!!!!

you said it all john,and i have a feeling hell will break loose if they screw the oef oif vets and put them what we nam vets have been through. it may take a while but i believe these guys will rise up. they are young and computer wise we did not have access to the knowledge these guys have . knowledge is power!

well got to get the letter first,but if they have moved that fast i will compliment the hell out of them. they already were familiar with my claim . however i don't think i am going to get the back pay the same if i had nodded. a nod would probably take forever and i just want to get it over with.
