Pete How can they turn you down for Tinnitus. They gave it to me without even clamiing it. I put in for High Frequency hearing loss. The QTC Doc asked me about rining in my ears. I told her 2 to 3 times per week. Next thing you know disproved for hearing loss. Not bad enough I guess and approved for Tinnitus. Jim

<_< I posted yesterday about winning my claim going back to August of 04. Well today I finally took a moment and really read thru it. Yesterday I was on cloud 9 after a 3 ½ year battle I had finally won. The rateing of 10 percent for my neck and shoulder pain was a fair rateing. I told the C+P Doc the truth that I am not in pain every day but that some days are worse the others. Here were I have my big question. The examiner diagnosed cervical spondyloarthropathy most likely secondary to cervical degenerative disc disease with myofascial syndrome. My question is since I am not service connect for cervical degenerative disc disease with myofascial syndrome. Should I know put a claim in for it? If so does anybody know the rateings for that. The brown envolope came today service connection for Cerical Spondyloarthrophathy (claimned as right schoulder and neck pain) granted at 10 percent (low balled.) Back to August 9 th 2004. Well now at 80 percent. Jim :)

Berta The actual people who are working on the claims are a contractor (lockheed Martin) Well you know the goverment who can we get to do it for 7 bucks an hour. What gets me Is I was in the orignal group who was promised to be done by 17 November 07. Well when I call the 1800 number I am told they are working on it. there is no accountabilty there. Jim

Just got off the phone with the 1800 Number (3rd call this week.) He told me my claim was at the adjunction office but there was a statement of case in the computer. He looked in it and it says service connected granted back to August 04 for back and shoulder pain granted at 10 percent. Well while I had him on the phone and he seems to be such a nice guy I asked him can he see if my rating changed. According to my trusted hadit.com service connected chart I came up with 79.485. I thought the VA would keep me at 70 percent he tells me it is now showing 80 percent. As a Air Force retire I still have never seen one drop of that back pay they keep promising us. I still hope thou. For all you new people out here let me tell you what has happened to me since I have found hadit.com with the wonderful people out here. Service connection form 60 to 80 percent ( I hope LOL) Acid reflux with hital hernia raised from 10 to 30 percent Shoulder and back pain from disapproved to 10 percent low balled take 500 milligrams a twice a day of hydrocodine to control pain Sinusitis from disapproved to 0 percent (will ask for an increase) Bronchitis from non-service connected to service connected no percentage tied in with sleep apnea Chronic laryngitis from 0 percent to 10 percent My claim is 1250 days old as of today. I went the DRO route and the listening to the wise people here took a DRO hearing. If I ever get my back pay I will sure take care of T-Bird so If you get discourage just keep plugging away people here will let you vent. Berta You make me laugh. When I first got stationed at Langley here in Virgina I was a single (read divorced Msgt) who owned his own home. Boy when I got to be that age woman really wanted to know not what kind of car you drive but weither you rent or own. Well I swore I would never get mariead agagin then met my wife. She made more money then me and owned her own home. So i know it was not my money she wanted but my charminng good looks lol Jim
