Question
tssnave
I've been gone for several weeks and haven't caught up on the board but in the interim, I have been working on completing the shrink visits for my IMO.
I just downloaded a copy of the Mental Disorders C&P exam for him and the VA made a BIG change on May 1, 2007. They added Section G. Effects of the Mental Disorder on Occupational and Social Functioning and then ask the shrink to pick what is, in essence, your rating percentage (using words, not numbers).
You can check it out on the VA website: http://www.vba.va.gov/bln/21/Benefits/exams/disexm37.htm
What is the back story here? In a quick search on the internet and a couple of vet sites I cannot find out what brought on this bit of good luck. They also updated the PTSD Mental Disorder C&P worksheet in a similar fashion.
Any info and feedback on how it is playing out for vet claims would be appreciated.
Thanks,
TS Snave
