grlewis72
How long it takes to actually go before a judge depends on the back log of cases. I am not sure how far Florida is behind, but some areas in MO are so far behind that they are saying 18 months from when you filed the request. To get a better idea of when they might have you on the docket, you can call the Office of Adjudication and Review that serves your area. The number should be on the first page of your request for hearing confirmation.

HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted October 1, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 1, 2008 (edited) Yoggie, you have a 20 day notice period for your court date. Your attoeney should call you for a sit down meeting to discuss your case. It is imparative that Social security has every shred of evidence. J Edited October 1, 2008 by jbasser A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
