I know that if the VA does reduce a 100% rating they should consider TDIU. In other words, a vet with 100% PTSD who gets a proposed reduction to 70% should then be considered for TDIU before a reduction in compensation.

ANSWER "It starts on the effective date listed in your award letter"

Question?

"On Sept 10, 2007 a decision was made" and goes on to say I have been awarded 100% TDIU.

Then the letter says " This entitlement is as of Aug 31, 2005"

What date does the va consider my effective date.?

thanks, bill

In your case, it would be the Date of Entitlement 8/31/05. ~Wings
