I believe I need hearing aids so I thought it would be a good idea to appeal that claim, tell me what you think. I am happy with 100% trust me I was 40 so big difference lol

navy,

You do not have to be SC'd for hearing loss to get a referral

to Audiology and hearing aids if needed.

I would appeal that even though you are 100%. Why? If down the road they give you an exam the hearing award will be part of the process at keeping you 100%. If the VA decides to give you an exam down the road and the examiner states your IU is partly due to hearing loss you could be in trouble. That is if your other conditions have shown improvement. Heck, they ain't no stress of waiting now since you have the whole shabang.

I would appeal but that's just me.

navy,

If you've got IU now comped at 100 %, do you really want to have the fight

over the hearing loss issue.

I guess my question would be - what if any additional benefit could it be to you ?

navydoc,

I feel it could take a bit to get the P&T, it would depend

on what the doc will write up for you.

jmho,

carlie

Thanks to all who advised, I have some thinking to do. I think for now I will enjoy the win.
