Since I got a new award the VA send me the life insurance form along with a pamphlat as anybody filled out this form and how does the life insurance work with the VA.

You have to write on the form you request a waiver for the premiums, If you are 100% that is. congrats on your win.

10,000 bucks for a 100% disabled vet is really an insult. Life insurance is supposed to help provide for the survivors and not be a burial policy.

10,000 is an insult to you John but that ship sailed on me I missed the deadline.

There is a bill so raise insurance amounts the 10,000 is going to 50,000 and it is supposed to have a one year window for eligible veterans to apply you might get a second chance Pete depends on how the law is written they are raising mortgage ins from 90 to 150,000

Pete

If you can find something in your records that would justify a 10% rating for some new disability you would be eligible for the insurance. For instance, if you had an IMO that your panic disorder aggravated heart condition then you would be there. It is a long shot but you get the idea.
