Question

From Paul Sullivan, attorney VCS

"VCS on "60 Minutes" on Sunday, January 3 VCS was interviewed recently by Byron Pitts for the CBS News program "60 Minutes." CBS reporters are investigating the unreasonable and unconscionable delays nearly one million veterans now face obtaining disability benefits from VA. CBS has scheduled the broadcast for Sunday, January 3, 2010. We encourage you and your friends to watch this important news broadcast."

GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University !

When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief

Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

It will be interesting to see if this piece brings any heat to the VA. By my recollection this is first time VA has admitted to 1 million claims although some talked about it months ago.23 page application that will raise some eyebrows.

It should be a lot simpler and a lot quicker.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

There might not have been anything new in this from what we already know but millions of Americans watch 60 minutes and everytime the word get's circulating it's a good thing.

Honestly, I didn't expect anything new but i'm very glad the problems we're facing are gaining momentum. I hope the raters and managers at various RO's across the Country saw this and maybe come into work this morning with a little more drive to do what's right.
