akwidow - we had quite a bit of snow and I didnt check my Wednesday mail until Thursday- the door to the mailbox had blown open and there was snow on a big stack of mail- and my award letter was there-

It said they would send my FTCA offset electronically to my bank.

Yesterday another snowy day I came back from a fund raiser at our fire dept and didnt even want to check my mail as it was snowing so hard but I did- Here a VA check was in the mailbox.

I tossed it on my desk as I thought it was my DEA money but when I opened it I was shocked as you would think when they have your direct deposit info they wouldn't put checks this large in the mail.

Then they sent me award letter for funeral burial expense they owe me-

but I got that money 2-3 weeks ago-that came fast-=yours should too.

REPS - this benefits I thionk is explained in the DIC forum-if not I will post topic on it there.

REPS approved that award already too but they only send out one check and it comes the first week of the month after approval-this is good to know for anyone eligible for this payment due to death of a veteran

I have good contact info for REPS program if anyone needs it.
