Summit Team?

Rate this question

My brother-in law has had a claim at BVA for 4 1/2 years. His rep called him today and told him that his case was before a judge in March and had been passed to a summit team on April 7. He was told that he should hear something by the end of the month. Can anyone tell me what a summit team is and what their function is?

I did a Google. It did not turn up much. There is a Summit Consulting that seems to do a lot of auditing for government agencies...

I have never heard anything about a "summit team".

I hope other's reply to this question if they have an answer.

The BVA ombudsman might have more info:

I have never heard that term before.

When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief

Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
