On a recent radiology report of my chest, PA and lateral it was noted that there is sclerosis of the aortic arch and proximal descending aorta. I have high cholesterol and I am taking pravachol and 1500 mg of niacin. Could this be the start of IHD? Any information would be appreciated. I am going to make an appt with a Doc to discuss.
