Need To Vent

Rate this question

hurryupnwait

Question

Just looked at my DRO hearing date, it was 2 years and 6 months ago. I had two C&P exams in January and no decision yet. This is ridiculous claim movement.

I also have a very well respected attorney, Ken Carpenter.

Just venting

When I count my blessings I count my family and friends twice.

If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

Well done is better than well said.

If you had exams in January I think you are close. You have one of the best lawyers in the business. I would call his office and don't give up until I get a response. He can't work magic but 2 and a half years is a long time to wait after a DRO. You are in good hands from what I hear with Ken. You may get all your problems solved at the VARO.

I spoke to Mr. Carpenter's assistant yesterday and they check daily on the claim and have made several calls to the rater. I know they don't think to highly of the LARO, nor do I.

My DRO hearing was March 2011, C&P June 2011, I suspect since what I have in will push me over 100% the DRO it is assigned to really doesn't want to deal with it. I wonder if it is getting close to thier annual review and they don't want to grant 100% SMC/S with 4 years of retro, before they talk with the boss about thier future.

Hurry-up-n-Wait, If that is a full vent, I wish I had people like you working with me!!!

It would be much more theraputic if you mentioned a raters Head position in relation to thier office chair or if you politely questioned the marital status of thier parents......

Best regards,

I've got two appeals with the LARO one from Oct 2009 and one from Aug 2011 along qith a couple of claims. From what my county VSO has said LA doesn't like to approve anything unusual like herbicide exposure outside of Vietnam. That's fine with me but I wish that they hurry up and deny me so I can get to the BVA. I don't think that San Diego is much better because I had them deny my DMII due to herbicide exposure in Thailand, they said that Herbicides weren't used in Thailand and that was after the VA issued thier bulletin in May 2010, I even sent them pictures show agent orange drums.

Ohh I certainly think those things, but I seldom speak or write them.
