Correction: Papa. Federal retiree under CSRS or FERS suffer no offset.

Only Military retirees.

J

How do military retirees suffer offset?

If i'm a military retiree under CRDP/CRSC and found 100% P&T I should see no offset. That's what concurrent receipt is, is it not? If i'm under 50%, THEN and only THEN would I see an offset, correct?

Don't military retirees suffer offset or reduction in SSA? If you are FERS and are on SSD you suffer offset to your OPM until you reach regular retirement age which is usually 62. CSRS suffer permanent reduction to SSA. Neither one affects money from the VA. The only thing that can affect VA is worker's compensation for the same injury.

Yes, but I thought this thread was about retro payments and CRSC/CRDP, not SS? So I think it's getting a little off track.

AH! Another claim entry just popped up.

Compensation & Pension Claim Status

Details of Your Claim

Claim Received: 10/17/2012

Claim Type: Retired Pay Adjustment

Estimated Claim Completion Date: 11/25/2012 to 12/10/2012

Contentions: Aew (New)

The "Authorization Review" claim is still unchanged. Maybe this is the remainder of my retro?

Just saw the same thing on Ebennnies and also a retiree. What did this mean for you?

CRDP is automatic....CRSC has to be applied for...

We have plenty of info on both of these programs for disabled retirees here at hadit.
