Inthewind
Correction: Papa. Federal retiree under CSRS or FERS suffer no offset. Only Military retirees. J How do military retirees suffer offset? If i'm a military retiree under CRDP/CRSC and found 100% P&T I should see no offset. That's what concurrent receipt is, is it not? If i'm under 50%, THEN and only THEN would I see an offset, correct?
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted November 16, 2012 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 16, 2012 Don't military retirees suffer offset or reduction in SSA? If you are FERS and are on SSD you suffer offset to your OPM until you reach regular retirement age which is usually 62. CSRS suffer permanent reduction to SSA. Neither one affects money from the VA. The only thing that can affect VA is worker's compensation for the same injury.

So I think it's getting a little off track.

Berta
CRDP is automatic....CRSC has to be applied for... We have plenty of info on both of these programs for disabled retirees here at hadit.
