I guess we sound like a whiners, but damn, VA can be so frustrating on the inside too! Ugh! lol

Thank-you for showing up! I survived the 95 shutdown (non-essential, forced to work anyways). It was HELL on morale!

When we finally did get paid it was added to our regular paycheck(putting it into a higher tax bracket)

Doesn't sound like whining to me, Harleyman. You just have a slight case of what everyone who has dealt with the VA has. It's called VAPTSD.

Hi, I'm late to the party as usual. We stopped getting paid at my RO since Tuesday, & as a rater I'm considered excepted, so basically going in for free. Of course they send all our DROs home (most experienced ones of us) so we don't have the bigwigs to ask questions of & guide us, & less of us are doing more of the claims. Congress needs to STFU & get on with the budget already. >:(
