mseitz Posted November 10, 2013 Author Share Posted November 10, 2013 I filed a BDD Claim in November 2012 and actually retired 1 May 2013. My claim was sent to the SLC RO and then farmed out to the Phoenix RO in October 2013. Although it was only 7 months ( I know others have waited and are waiting longer) it seemed like forever..Espcecially the not knowing part. I did a calculation based on what I thought and even though I came up with 100% it was very nerve racking because ultimately the rater makes the determination. Like I said, I am very happy with the outcome but there is a hollow feeling as to the overall fact that at 50 years old I have enough injuries/conditions from my 25 years of service to be considered 100% disabled..
