What Is Your Number One Complaint About The Va?

Rate this question

Slowlane

Question

If you had a chance to "air" your number one complaint about the VA what would it be?

1. Medical care?

2. Claim backlog wait time?

3. Total communication breakdown (no way to make your point)?

4. C&P lies?

5. Hamster wheel tactics and deny deny until they die? (my favorite)

CNN has opened the nations eyes over the medical scheduling crimes. Jeff Miller has said that "this is just the tip of the iceberg". CNN has a "Contact Us" link on their website.

This might be our big chance of get some national attention on some of the above items if this (Hadit) website could unite together and go forth in numbers.

However, sadly, this thread will die in less than three days. No messages will go forward to CNN. An opportunity to get some attention before the latest scandal blows over will be lost.

Being misdiagnosed with migraines instead of TBI. Being misdiagnosed with bipolar instead of TBI. Being misdiagnosed with schizophrenia instead of PTSD flashbacks and seizures. Being given an antipsychotic that almost killed me and kicked off Parkinson's.

I'm not very happy with VA, but I have nowhere else to go.

I posted this at wrong place the other day....

AS member said we need a Woodward and Bernstein

There already is.

It is the Watchdog team from the Washington Examiner:

"Being misdiagnosed with migraines instead of TBI. Being misdiagnosed with bipolar instead of TBI. Being misdiagnosed with schizophrenia instead of PTSD flashbacks and seizures. Being given an antipsychotic that almost killed me and kicked off Parkinson's.

You might have the basis for a Section 1151 claim.

Within days after the Phoenix scandal broke, Commander John Wells ( also a veteran lawyer) gave a brief overview of FTCA and Section 1151.

A former veteran did the other day at Fox as well.

I will try to push up the FTCA/1151 forum here as soon as I can.

Phoenix was negligence/malpractice , plain and simple. And there could be many vets out there who think they were inappropriately treated by VA, in many other ways ,and their med recs would reveal if that happened to them.

1. We take up a collection.

2. We hire a airplane to fly banners over Regional Offices.

The press gets involved and large chunks of do-do hits the fan.

Thanks for all you do for us, Berta. I'll need a lawyer for all that because my Psychologist thinks I have dementia and that's why I had such a severe reaction to the antipsychotic. Seems the antipsychotic has accelerated my mental problems as well as giving me tremors.

That is terrible and you deserve better than that from VA......all veterans do...

more secret waiting lists:

http://www.kmph.com/story/25685225/midwest-va-hospitals-also-had-secret-waiting-lists

http://www.labovick.com/veterans/va-secret-waiting-lists-revealed

I sure wonder about the ROs 'lists' as well.

I have been asking VA via a few IRISes for over a year, the status of my 2 pending claims filed in 2012..

After acknowledging the claims over a year ago, those claims are now gone....vanished ,vamoosed, nada ,in the crapper, lost...???

and they said in last 2 IRISes that they are working on a NOD for " DIC claim" ........ that I have already won.?????

My most recent IRIS response from VA this past Monday was this:

"Recently you requested assistance from VA. Below is our response.

If you wish to reopen this issue, you may do so within the next 14 days.

Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with us. We welcome all comments and suggestions from the public."

Aint that the shits? No mention at all of my legitimate status questions.

Of course I don't take this crap laying down.
