They are confined with the rules of their UNION. Sanders is taking money from them. Trying to manuver around the union is impossible. They are more concerned with the union than they are with the Veteran. Firing one of these people is impossible especially when they have many members of congress in their pocket.

Exactly why I say get rid of the Union. Maybe without them stuffing money in the pockets of members of congress, we vets might actually get a fair shake. One rotten apple in the barrel will ruin the whole barrel, and in this barrel (scandal) the union is that apple.

Just saw a Congress critter ask VA about $500 Million sitting in bank to be carried over and the VA said, "We'll look into it."

I don't see the smirk like the IRS guy but they are Untouchables, just the same.

I am now convinced the VA is a very dangerous, powerful & corrupt mafia that must be dismantled; it cannot be repaired.

Certainly not by Congressional lap dogs.

The VA system as it is now can never serve the needs of vets. The VSO's are part of that corrupt and ineffective system as are many medical schools, contractors, politicians and government employees. The VA needs to be changed to a Medicare/Tricare like system. Save the hospitals for those who want to die on clean sheets.

very much agree. seeing CNN last nite VA is in full CYA mode and damn anyone that counters them. and some of us have to go to VA for so called healthcare(ration). almost contributes to my symptoms. funny but not so funny.

if that were to happen, i would hope the corrupt arm of influence from VA/fed is gone to where vets actually get a fair shake regarding correct diagnosis and if disability warranted that too. whereas so many vets before and now spend years fighting for that against a gamed system. but Congress has knows this crap for years. its all documented but biz as usual. is this America or russia?
