Filing For Ui Help!

Question

Hello my fellow vets...I have a question. I would like to apply for UI although I haven't had a job since I got out in 2013. I have been on interviews but my anxiety level and everything has always been against me during the interview process and I never get a call back. Will this be a issue for me not having employment since my medical retirement? I meet all other requirements and am currently on ssdi just need this clarified.

ME1984: Did you receive a notice of "Inferred Claim for IU" pending, with your most recent VA Comp claim award letter? If not, you may not meet the VA Schedular requirements for IU. That doesn't mean you can't get an extra-schedular IU rating, it's just more difficult. What has your VSO advised you regarding an IU claim? Familarize yourself with the 38 CFR's pretaining to IU and TDIU.

I was 90% SC since 2011 with an inferred IU claim denial 09/2012. Just had TDIU awarded at a NOD DRO Hearing 6/27/14.

Check out the VA Vocational Rehabilitation Program. A "Denial Letter" from a VA VocRehab Councilar will make your IU case. That Denial letter was a piece of GOLD at my DRO Hearing. It sealed the deal. Apply for VOCREHAB on your E-BEN site. Depending how messed up you are, you may be able to get the Denial Letter after just a couple of meetings.

Good Luck
