I Had My C&p

Question

I went to my C&P for (PTSD) and (Alcohol Abuse in remission), My anxiety was through the roof, The day before I restless and on edge all day, I did not get maybe three hours sleep the night before. I asked the examiner after the C&P how it went and his response was I should not worry about it . He said he could not give me a percentage. That would be up to the VARO. I had to take a five hundred question mental health test after the one on one C&P. I believe they are going to low ball me I always project the worse thats part of my PTSD. My anxiety is really high today I am wound really tight. I looked at my e-benefits page today and it went from review of evidence back to gathering evidence. I realize that means they are looking at C&P and MH test results. I went to my e-benefits blue button and it said my C&P review update in progress.

My question to you very knowledgeable folks today is will I be able to see C&P on e-benefits. did a new rule about us seeing the C&P go into effect?

I have another question, from what I have seen on here normally the vet sees a decision within six weeks am I correct ? I only have the PTSD cliam in right now.

I guess I am just looking for some encouragement on my perception of these questions. This is helping me talking with you all during this stressful time, thank you for any comments.

Hang in there, knap-sack.

It's encouraging that examiner said it'll be in your favor so that should give you hope in the waiting game.

It was at least 2 weeks or more before I was able to view C&P results on MyHealthEvet - never did get the one i requested using FOIA from the VARO (or they sent it to the wrong address- AGAIN!)

I'd set your sights on good news in February.

Keep your head up as you play the waiting game. I had 2 exams last week and they posted on my healthy vet within 3 working days. My e benefits status moved up to prep for decision around the same time. Although each office or location may be different it is something that everyone goes through in the process. Hopefully you will see some results by the middle of next week. Good Luck!

Had my psych C&P today. Took about 4hrs. I was told to bring things in writing to help me remember. When I went in I was not aloud to look at them. She said if you have had trauma you dont need help in remembering. She kept asking me about my marraige and my relationship with my kids. I was on a CCATT team so I only saw the reprocussions of the most critical injuries. We flew over hazardous areas. I told her about my nightmares and flashbacks. I have panic attacks. I basically don't go anywhere accept for appts. She minimized everything Example I gave her. She kept asking me why I was having these memories and nightmares and panic attacks. She basically doesnt think I have PTSD. I am so frustrated and confused. Has any one else experienced this?

I rederred you to the 2010 PTSD regulations in another post you made here.

here is that reply

You need to read the 2010 PTSD regulations here:

Diagnosis by a VA MH professional and proof of stressor, either by falling under these regulations ( close proximity and fear of hostile activity) abnd/or CIB, CAR, PH on your DD 214 or proof of a stressor.

Stressors and Buddy statements info here:
