Congrats on the great news bud. I have never seen a claim complete so fast after the Exam Hell Yeah!!! 50% is good, and remember that you can always wait 3-6 months, continue your treatment and then put in for an increase in your MDD/PTSD. This is usually faster then appealing the decision. In my case I was retiring from the Navy in Feb 13 at 30% for PTSD, filed for an increase in Sep 13, and in Apr 14 my PTSD was increased to 70%. I recommend that route to most folks so that the VA does not think that we are trying to get over on the system. We all know that you are sick my friend, just a way to keep the heat off, you know. Boy that was really fast. CONGRATS!

Something like that happened to me a few years ago I called the 800 number and the operator gave the denial date and then saw the same claim was granted within a few weeks.

Actually the 800# wasn't supposed to tell me about the award but I told her I already knew it was coming.

It resulted from a Go CUE Yourself claim via fax and IRIS.
