0% + 0% = ?

I know I heard somewhere that two 0% rated conditions equate to 10%. Is this true? Also, what about situations where there are even more multiple 0% rated conditions.....like 3 or 4 of them?

I thought it took three "0" to get the 10%, but I could be wrong.

Sorry bud, I have close to 10 0%s, and they don't add up to nothing, atleast I have not read anywhere in my 4 claim packets that they were anything other than 0s. Remember that if those SC conditions get worse, you can always submit for an increase.

whats the differance between denied %o,can you be denied and still rated at %o precent,i know you can be service connected at %o,then you;d ask for an incress,i was denied but still rated useing a cd-code which required a %10 5295

You can be denied and still received SC at 0%....but its a good start so all is not lost!

keep the date/letter if you were 0% SC

Did they say you were denied for increase but still remain 0% SC for the disability you was seeking increase?

§3.324 Multiple noncompensable service-connected disabilities.

Whenever a veteran is suffering from two or more separate permanent service-connected disabilities of such character as clearly to interfere with normal employability, even though none of the disabilities may be of compensable degree under the 1945 Schedule for Rating Disabilities the rating agency is authorized to apply a 10-percent rating, but not in combination with any other rating.

What is most importance to keep in mind with this reg is that - if there is already compensable SC in place -

then the 10% for two or more SC'd at zero rating, does not apply.

Mark,

Since you already hold a compensable level of SC - the reg for multiple SC'd at zero %

does not apply in your situation.
