Check your Ebenefit's account periodically until you see your claim status go to "Preparation for Notification" and/or "Closed." When this happens, start checking your "Benefits Summary Letter" under "Downloadable VA Letters" daily. Usually, any change in actual rating status will show up on the "Benefits Summary Letter" before you receive the BBE from the VA. Also, start checking your direct deposit account for retro at this point. Good luck to you and thank you for your service. 0 Navy4life Posted June 4, 2015 Share Posted June 4, 2015 After my final C&P for MH I moved quickly - I went from GOE all the way to Claim Closed within 2 weeks. Preparation for Decision means they are reviewing your claim to rate you and if they need more items then you will go back to GOE but if they have enough info then they will keep moving forward and finish your claim!
