Founder Tbird Posted July 4, 2015 Founder Share Posted July 4, 2015 Congratulations Bob! Thanks for sharing with us, very happy for you. Tbird Founder HadIt.com Veteran To Veteran LLC - Founded Jan 20, 1997 HadIt.com Veteran To Veteran | Community Forum | RallyPoint | FaceBook | LinkedIn | About Me Time Dedicated to HadIt.com Veterans and my brothers and sisters: 65,700 - 109,500 Hours Over Thirty Years I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it. I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life. The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans. HadIt.com Elder Chuck75 Posted July 4, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted July 4, 2015 The simplest way to get an earlier EDD is to find a CUE in the original award. This is something that can be glare in your face obvious, or something that only a lawyer might notice. The VA makes many mistakes, and often gets away with them. Who knows? - currently, the VA is supposedly in the correct past mistakes mode when it comes to claims. It's possible that a "new" claim or "contention" may prompt a look at the older claim(s), since it's sort of subject to revision during the claim process.
