The examiner did not mark depressed mood so it would be difficult to make a claim for depression. I don't know if you can claim the diagnosis the examiner gave you.

Doing what you did in the military may have exposed you to Gulf War Syndrome, if you can get a rating for that you can maybe file for anxiety or depression as a secondary????

Brother, I would go an get an IMO/IME. Find someone who is well regarded in the field of mental health. remember that exams/reports are based on "rank" and rank is the letters after your name and whats in their resume. Have them compile a IME report AND a DBQ

I would disagree with the decision and file depression caused the PTSD but you need a good IME/IMO to address this make sure the private Dr is board certified and well qualified.

Recopy the C%P Report and have the New Dr to go by that. use it as your new evidence.

or fill out a new PTSD DBQ.

The rater took the QTC decision over the VA physiatrist and that's not right. but he said you were Never diagnosed with PTSD? IF YOU WAS YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A RATING.
