Prep for Decision...No C&P??

Rate this question

Question

I have several claims in, one increase, one reopen, and one new.  The increase was just filed on Jan 7th.  The new claim was filed on October 19.  Was in "under review" stage for a few days, and today it says "Prep for Decision."  No new C&P was done.  Is this normal?  Or could it be a fast denial?

Really it can go either way, but if you Have well documented evidence and Records thru the VA for treatment, then yes you could be approved. I have had a few conditions granted SC without C&Ps. Just try not to go crazy and see what the VA officially says. Good luck and keep us posted

Thanks!  It just seemed weird that it went from under review to prep for decision in one day.  I have good evidence, but thought they would definitely want another C&P.    I just hope it's not a quick denial.

Went back to Review of Evidence today (Saturday).  Maybe it's a good sign if it's moving back and forth. No C&P scheduled as of yet.  It went into Preparation for Decision phase with no new C&P,  Would they rate with no new C&P?  Nothing has changed on AB8, or on EBenefits except for claim status.

Honestly you are going to drive yourself crazy checking Ebennies...I know it's frustrating but try to stay calm.  There are too many"scenario's" that can play out.  I can say this with my past experience that this means someone is reviewing your file.  Just try to stay positive and relax!
