Prep for Decision...No C&P??

Rate this question

Question

I have several claims in, one increase, one reopen, and one new.  The increase was just filed on Jan 7th.  The new claim was filed on October 19.  Was in "under review" stage for a few days, and today it says "Prep for Decision."  No new C&P was done.  Is this normal?  Or could it be a fast denial?

Yep, been stuck in holding, pattern is full, waiting for decision approval for 3-4 weeks now.

VARO called me over a week ago, got a slam bam exam scheduled in a day, went, but still in holding pattern.

Ready to sinch up my 'chute and step off...

So you were in Prep for decision, and they scheduled an exam?

that happened to me too Devildog!  I noticed I went to PFD and notified my VA rep and they got me a C&P exam and put me back to GOE...

Oh ok,maybe I will get a new C&P then too.  I just wish it was all over with!

DevilDog;

You are your own best advocate so if you think you should have a C&P for the contention you are claiming, I would bark up every tree to ensure I get one!  I did, b/c like I said I was in PFD and I had a MH contention pending.  I knew I needed one and sure enough I should have had one and by me "barking up the trees" I got the C&P and got my MH award!

Do everything for your claim you think is necessary!
