This may be a dumb question but with the intent to file, I understand we have 365 days until that date.
But is this 365 days to initiate a claim as in just submitting it. Or is it 365 including everything as in submitting and then going to your exam and waiting to conclude your disability %?

You need to file your claim within 365 days of the intent to file. The C&P's and decision take place after you file so they are not included in the 365 days.
