Peggy doesn't see me claim anymore???

Question

Spoke with Peggy twice today and both don't see my granted issues and only see my one remanded issue. I spoke with BVA after and they confirmed they only see the remanded issue as well.

I was told a few weeks ago that my granted issues had a decision made at RO and waiting for final sign off.

Does that mean decision has been finalized and letter should be going out any day?

Also is it true that to assign a rating the RO needs a C&P exam no longer than a year old?

I would love to answer your question but I need a little more info. Is Peggy your VSO or working the DAV or American Legion? Sometimes, they can't see it based off not meeting certain criteria to look at decisions. There's one VSO that I have can see everything and other VSOs can't based off what he's qualified to look at. I hope you have a fair decision!

No. Peggy is the nick name that has been given to the 1-800-827-1000 phone number.

I don't really know, but I would think Peggy would be able to see what is going on with your decision, whether they could tell you about it or not.

I think if they rate using a C&P exam it is usually less than a year old. I think if they have enough information in the medical records they can rate without a C&P exam.

My VSO told me it was with rater but appeals management office said it's still in national work queue and that they are emailing RO to actually start working it. So I don't know what to believe. I have to assume AMO is telling truth since they replied to me at request of Whitehouse.

Backpay I think you're right. Calling the Whiehouse does have some clout if you have a real beef.
