As soon as we get it we revoke the poa on file for you. This one is new to me I never knew to do that or mention to other veterans. So Should Veterans send in the VA 21-22 to the claims processing Center in Janesville Wi? request they revolke the old VSO And you guys will put his new VSO Down as his POA? What if this VSO your going to send a letter to to revolke his POA what if the Veteran owns this POA $$$ ??? Unless you mean VA VSO like the DAV VFW ect,,ect,,, What about if the Veterans fires his private attorney with his POA, and the Veteran hires another attorney....this PRIVATE Attorney would need to send the original attorney a letter stating this Veteran has hired him and he is now this Veterans POA AND let the old Attorney know his POA has been revolked. I always was thinking if we have a POA and get no results and we hire some one else this new person should send the Old VSO/POA a letter....but what if theres Money owed to the old POA? Normally if veteran fires his attorney and hires a new attorney then the new attorney sends the old attorney a letter letting him know this Veteran hired him so the old attorney would know he is out revolked. from his POA. 0 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted May 4, 2021 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted May 4, 2021 @aggravating_coyoteFor clarity, what specifically are you wanting to do? See below: 1. Change from one veterans service organization to another, such as switching from American Legion to DAV. 2. At American Legion, change from one person to a completely different person. 3. At the VA, change the specific person who is processing your claim. I had to ask because your initial question left open a number of possibilities.
0 Moderator brokensoldier244th Posted May 4, 2021 Moderator Share Posted May 4, 2021 You send it in, we revoke it. If you owe them money that's on you. We're have nothing to do with who you appoint other than making sure it's on your claim. The new poa has to sign it, too, So you can't just pick someone without their involvement. It's always been this way. You don't need a vso to revoke a vso.

0 El Train
I found VSO's good for answering some questions, getting a hold of some C&P's exams, filing an NOD, etc. Your best advocate is you, and learning on this forum. After two years of my own leg work and succeeding to get 100% P&T, SMC-S, my VSO was asking questions and advice from me. And he has been doing this for a long time. You see he wasn't dealing with your run of the mill Veteran who wanted him to do everything. I found Dr's to help me with IMO, DBQ,s and do forensics on my service medical records. And you can do the same. With all the info. here on hadit. If you change representatives, they will file a new POA with the VBA. If you want to do like me, represent yourself, retain your current guy for questions only. Buck52

I have never heard from my POA ever, text, phone, email or letter, since I started my claims in 2008. But, my CVSO says he is the best. So, I got that going for me, Hamslice Actual

Aggravating-Coyote, do you care to explain the reason for separating from the VSO? This process is hard, confusing, and fustrating especially when you first start. The VSO is a guide but you
