Well I have my C&P tomorrow at LHI about my Meniere's claim. Should be an adventure. Going to a place that doesn't specialize in anything close to what I'm being examined for. All the new rating and nightmares I hear from everyone. I have to drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to a company that has another office 20 mins from me. I almost just quit the claim and left well enough alone but I think thats what they want. I hope I get a person that listens and reads all my doctors notes. I'll check ebenefits later today to see if I get denied before i even have my examine like last time lol.

The locations are not always specialist offices, the examiners sometimes 'borrow' space from an existing nearby location. Good luck.

It is just not veterans that the ROs doesn’t trust they don’t trust their own VAMC doctors. Even when the ROs scheduled C & P exams at the VAMC, the ROs only had selected Medical Doctors to actual

If you have any paperwork from your doctor to show your issues, I would take it with you and highlight the important parts.  I had to do that with Dercums disease as they have no idea what it is.

(I AM NOT A RATER- I work the claims BEFORE they are rated, annotating medical evidence in your records, VA and Legal documents,  and DA/DD forms- basically a paralegal/vso/etc except that I also evaluate your records based on Caluza and try to justify and schedule the exams that you go to based on whether or not your records have enough in them to warrant those)

Well I got a call yesterday and LHI is scheduling a second exam now. My wife asked the person what this is for and its a hearing exam. This is weird because it doesn't even state menieres anywhere and thats the only claim I have in at the moment. Now I have to wait until May to get this second exam. Guess the wheel is still rolling though.

It wouldn't, necessarily- though a hearing exam/ear exam usually goes with menieres since menieres is a defect within the inner ear. Whoever scheduled it should have requested both at the same time, though.

That is what I was wondering. The place they want to send me I've been before and they didn't have equipment sensitive enough to measure my hearing loss lol. Hopefully they got better equip. or they'll be sending me to Boston again. Hearing doesn't and hasn't gotten any better.

I just want to keep filling everyone in because its almost comical the way the C&P people screw up. Sometimes it seems on purpose. So last night my wife and I called to reschedule because they set up on our vacation. The lady wrote everything down and when we get back and said someone would call and let me know after May 3rd. I just got a voicemail that's its been reschedule for April 29th over 2 hours away. Its so crazy. Now my wife and I have to call back tonight and explain the whole thing again. It really shouldn't be this hard. The appt. they just canceled is 3 miles away from me. Why can't they reschedule their instead of sending me out of state 2 hours away? Messed up. To be continued...

Smh so veterans how are disabled veteran to be able to travel 2 hr.

For a 20 30 min appointment.

And no one see don't see anything wrong with this.
