LHI tomorrow

Rate this question

Riplip

Question

Well I have my C&P tomorrow at LHI about my Meniere's claim. Should be an adventure. Going to a place that doesn't specialize in anything close to what I'm being examined for. All the new rating and nightmares I hear from everyone. I have to drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to a company that has another office 20 mins from me. I almost just quit the claim and left well enough alone but I think thats what they want. I hope I get a person that listens and reads all my doctors notes. I'll check ebenefits later today to see if I get denied before i even have my examine like last time lol.

Smh  was this contract before covid.

But I am not here to fight or go back an forth about the contract exams.

I don't like the ideal and ain't no excuse for the VA going to change that.

Last qtc is own by lock Head and Martin.

If you can see problem it ok.

An now they want to close hospital be careful what you wish for sometime.

It's not a good thing

Actually, I got my mileage reimbursement from LHI, not the VA, and it came automatically.  Part of the deal.

Wow, that's totally unlike the VA or it's contractors -- being proactive, lol...

For the OP, you could have gone to the LHI website and got yourself a login and password and had access to "some" information, like when and where and the examiners name.  But no exam reports, as there is a disclaimer stating, reports are available of your exam from the VA.

No surprise to me. It's difficult enough for us to obtain them from the VA as it is.

I don't know about LHI, but I recently had an exam through QTC and they automatically sent me a check for mileage.  I had the exam in their office and then they sent me to an office in the same building to have x-rays done. For some reason, they sent me a mileage check for the appointment and another check for the x-ray.  Ooops!

Years ago, the VAMC C&P clinic would give you a travel voucher as you left. I would sign it and then get in line at the cashier to cash it. It was great because I could fill up my gas tank and grab some food on the way out.

Whodat

You are so right about worker's comp. exam doctors.  What a bunch of whores.  I was on WC for a couple of years and it was an experience I would not wish on anyone.  OWCP is the worst organization in America.  Injured workers really get the shaft.  The WC staff I worked with were just nasty, rude and took every opportunity to screw an injured worker.  If VA gets like WC we are in for a shit storm.

The exam seemed to go well but you never know. The doctor was great and was asking questions right on the DBQ and agreed with all my paperwork. Hope the next step goes well.
