My Dav Rep Quits On Me During Claim At Raters Now What?

Hi everyone

I am already worried and now I find out my DAV REP Quits on me. My claim is at the Raters and I have no one who can seem to help me. I tried to call DAV they pretty much told me to just wait it out. Should I just find another REP. I really feel like its to late.

If your claim is with the rater ,about all you can do

now is wait.i don't know why DAV representative would quit on

you,that don,t seem right,but there is other DAV reps that will

represent you.You can get copies of your medical histroy from

release of information office in Va medical center where you did

your C&P of was treated for other disabilities, by just filling out

the required forms,now if you want to see your c-file,which is the

medical and all the other evidence you filed on your claim,you go

to the regional offfice and and put in a request to see your c-file

and they will give you a date and time you can view file,but remember

that this can delay your claim being rated.You can also get a lot of information from this forum.HADIT.COM

When you say your DAV rep quit on you -- what do you mean ???

Ex:

1) My DAV rep said my claim is being rated and there is nothing else I can do for now.

2) Your claim has no merit and I won't represent you ?

If DAV is your POA organization, so to say, irrelevant of what the reason is (because reps change all the time) DAV would simply automatically assign another DAV service officer to continue handling your claim.

Thanks for all of your replies. I finally got some answers and was told I do have a new Dav Rep Never talk to the guy but was told he is representing my claim.

I don't now if this should make me feel in better while my claim is at the raters.
