On a 22-15 party-line vote, the committee rejected an amendment by Rep. Is it normal for people to be diagnosed with "borderline traits" while in their mid 50s? I thought this was a young person's problem??? What what I can determine from my research, this is an awlful long time to live with BPD. I guess getting that top secret clearance right out of boot camp holds no water. Besides, why does VA hold that disorder with such comtempt? Oh well, what do I know??? Liz

As most of you have read I've been really sick due to my PCP changing my meds to morphine. I was sick and throwing up for 2 weeks. I had one trip to the VA emergency room I was so sick and dehydrated. I hadn't been able to work a full day in 2 weeks. Yesterday I was still very sick and called my PCP to see if I there was anyway I could come today instead of next week. I was told I could call to see if an appointment had come open today but it would be BETTER if I waited till next week. Luckily today I am not sick on my stomach and my chiropractor was able to work me in and give me some pain relief. Guess I've just not been around the VA long enough.
