http://medicine.ucsd.edu/clinicalmed/neuro3.htm You will find many examination descriptions here. Check what a C&P doctor should do, or should have done. I'm using it to help with filing a formal complaint on an Inadequate C&P.

CMI is commonly mistaken for Multiple Sclerosis because its symptoms are so similar. As with MS, symptoms of CMI usually appear in women between the ages of 20 - 40. Both conditions include neck pain, pressure in the neck, frequent headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, difficulty with motor skills, numbness, balance problems and muscle weakness. Patients are often diagnosed with MS, based on symptoms alone, even though testing of bodily fluids have provided no definitive diagnosis. Therefore, minimal CMI should be considered a possibility in MS patients when a diagnosis has been made based solely on symptoms. http://www.chiarione.org/chiari.html Also, check out the…

I was prescribed Sanctura for over active bladder-post prostate cancer. by my civilian doc. The Spokane Washington VA doesn't carry it and says it hasn't been on the market long enough. I emailed the maker of the drug who states the drug has been out well over a year and VA has access to purchase it. I appealed the denial to the head pharmacist at Spokane VA, who stated the drug was too new etc. I emailed the manufacturer who is trying to find out what's going on at VA. Anyone else used this drug or got VA to supply it? It really worked well for me cut down in half the frequency without the dry mouth etc. The pill costs me $2.00 each and at 2 per day adds up without VA he…

Paroxetine Hcl For Mood

;) I've been taking Paroxetine for depression to help eliviate my depressed mood. My Psychiatrist recently had the perscription increased from 40 MG to 50 MG. This I believe is the second time it has been increased with limited or questionable results. Granted it has only been a few weeks since the last increase and may need some time for any benefits to be shown. My Question concerns whether or not a physical injury, that of a cerebral concusion, that was shown to have caused unconsciousness, for less than 30 minutes, amnesia for the proceding 3 days, and demostrating a slow wave form, of the frontal lobe on an EEG test, could be the cause and why the Paroxetine ha…

oxycodone, morphine, or methadone? I take oxycodone, 15 mg 4 x day as needed with 20 mg oxycontin 4 x a day. the 15 mg for 1.5 yr now, and is not working as well...dosage needs to be upped.. onlly prob is I just went thru hell to get the oxycodone to be issued by va last month..they wanted me to use methadone. I use a private doctor outside VA and see her once a month...and she does my meds and I take them to the va doc to fill. If they are all three about the same then I may talk my private doc into methadone and make va happy....they already provide 8 of my meds. I have also tried morphine sul...what is the diff between it and just morphine? thanks..t

I've had osteo in the ankle joint and foot for over 30 years. Intermittently it flairs up pretty bad and I go on a run of antibiotics ( Ceftin for the last few years), debreeding, etc.. The ortho docs have changed the antbiotics over the years as new ones come out that work better than the old ones - or depending on the bug that shows up during cultures. The Ceftin seems to be getting less and less effective. The next flair up the docs want me to go into the hospital for a debreed and scrape and to get the antibiotics by IV. Anybody else have the bug and what treatment do you use during flair ups??? Although I'm TDIU I only get 10% for the osteo. Riverman
