Establish A S/c And Nexus
hi, My military doctor tells me that as long as I was diagnosed with an illness and treated for it while in the service (22 years of service), I do not need to have a statement- Was most likely due to... He said because my claim is filed as soon as I get discharged and the illnesses occurred after I entered the military, VA will have to except them as service connected. Is this correct? The reason for him saying this is because a couple of my illness have no known cause. Also a second question: As far a psychiatric evaluation- I have depression, which is caused by my illness and prolonged stress of MOS. When I go for my psych consult, should I talk about my childhoo…

Just trying to get my ducks in a row and ready to go if my rating is poor. My last CE they used xrays from 2 yrs ago for some and for others they got new ones or new views. Would I request that new xrays be used to give a more adequate and complete picture if the rating is low for the area's they used the old xrays. Thanks

Christmas Greetings
Christmas Greetings, On Dec 24th 1967, my guys that were off duty were sitting around the tent talking of home and what everyone back home was doing that evening and what the plans for the next day would be for the family. We were up in the mountains in Vietnam so it was cool and we had an old potbelly stove in the tent. We had made some hot chocolate from C rats on top of that old stove. Still can taste how good it was back then. Of course, it might have been the company I was in. About 2200 hours the perimeter opened up and the call went out sappers in the wire. Marine CIC called a 100% alert. This was supposed to be one of those negotiated cease-fire…

tinnitus Pulmonary Embolism
Greetings. I just got home from spending 4 days in the hospital due to another pulmonary embolism following surgery. The first embolism occurred while active duty following surgery for a broken ankle and the most recent bout following stomach surgery. During stomach surgery, a vein filter was installed temporarily to prevent another PE and was removed 30 days following surgery. So, the filter was removed last Wednesday and I was in the emergency room with a PE on Thursday evening. Doctors do not know the cause of the clot but I am now a lifetime coumadine patient since its considered a reocurring problem. I have a current total rating of 80% for the following: 50…

Myhealthevet....meds Delivery Time In Arkansas
I can hardly believe that MyHealtheVet has delivered my meds within 8 hours of my orders for the last month. Normally it takes a day to get them, but 8 hours is a phenomenal time. The accuracy has been 100%. This most certainly has been a project and service that has gone right for the VA, at least with me. https://www.myhealth.va.gov/mhv-portal-web/...geLabel=mhvHome

Sent Someone Else's Form 119
In July 07 when I got my VCAA forms at the back of them another form 119 was sent to me by error, regarding another individual. I called the VA and told them what I had they were suppose to send me something to send this back to them they never did. I forgot about this form until I pulled it out to see what it said so I could ask for advice--should I call this person since I have his info to see if they are still waiting for this form to rate his claim?
