tdiu Searching The Forum
If you want to Search the FORUM it is best to us the search feature that has a link from Hadit's Home Research Page. This search uses Google. You can type in the Acronyms, IMO, ED, SO, TDIU, ect., and the search will find them. This SEARCH button is at this top of the page under the header with the LOGO for HADIT. The search button/bar next to the "members" tab does not work the same. I hope this helps for those who need to research their questions for previous responses and topics. There is a lot of information that has been posted on the Hadit forum in the past.

Need Help Please
In my remand letter from the BVA of June 24 2005, it states the folowing; "The board notes that the RO originally denied service connection for residuals of a back disability by way of a rating decision dated in April 1973. In July 1973, the RO continued the denial based on the veteran s failure to appear for a VA examination (I do not recall this). In August 1973, the veteran responded to that notice and reported that he was willing to appear for an examination, which was then conducted in October 1973. In November 1973, the RO denied service connection for a back disability that was congenital or developmental in origin, and determined that the episode of back pain…

Agent Orange Causes Genetic Disturbance
Week of April 30, 2007 A study published in the journal "Cytogenetic and Genome Research" shows that exposure to Agent Orange, and other defoliants, has led to genetic disturbance in New Zealand Vietnam War veterans that continues to persist decades after their service. New Zealand Defence Force Personnel fought in the Vietnam War from July 1965 until November 1971 when more than 76,500,000 liters of phenoxylic herbicides were sprayed over parts of Southern Vietnam and Laos to clear vegetation from around military installations. for the rest of the story

100 % Disabling Versus 100 % Permanent Versus Versus Iu
My name is Charles. I recieved an evaluation of 100 percent disabling on July 1st 2004. I had a re-evaluation on Decmber 01 2006 and I recieved the letter saying ( evaluation of panic disorder with modifed agoriphobia, to include major depressive disorder which is currently 100 percent disabling, is continued However, there continues to be the possibility of improvement in the futurem with continued treatment, a future examination will be scheduled. Therefore this total evaluiation is not to be considered permament at thie time.) 1. Is this 100 percent called Scheduler? 2. It does not say anywhere that I am IU. C & P Coming Up Soon.
Hi, I was wondering what I should expect at my C&P that is coming up on May 17. It is in regards to my IU. Are they going to give me a psych eval too? Are they just going to look at the medical issues that I have filed for? I was wondering this because I just went to my NY SSD exam on Wed. and they gave me a psych eval, for what reason who knows, but they gave me one and they doctors there were...geez I don't even want to get started about them. Is my C&P going to be long? The first one I went to was only about 30-45 min, at the longest. I just really need to be prepared for this, because I do not want to get denied. Thanks, Tamara

Writ Of Mandamus-what Is It
This topic was moved and I could not find it to reply directly to it- A Writ of Mandamus is a petition to the US Court of Veterans Appeals -usually to have them take action to get your claim decided faster. BUT- you have to have exhausted every potential thing you could do- to get action on your claim. I filed a Writ of Mandamus many years ago that was denied by the Court- but I sent to RO a copy of it and at the same time I was actively pressuring the RO to read my medical evidence.I did receive those awards but I have no idea if the mandamus helped at all. I am preparing another Writ of MAndamus- their are quidelines at the CAVC web site that must be follow…

Adding A Claim
Hi, I was wondering if I needed to submit a claim for the scars I have on my head from my surgery (SC condition) or will it be done by the doctor when I go into the C&P? I don't have a problem at all filing, but I have my C&P coming up and we (me and my vet rep) never claimed scars. Cant miss it, 11" on the back of my head, and a smaller one, 3", on the right side from the initial accident. If I do have to file for the scars, can I give the info directly to the doctor? Or, do I not file til after the C&P, but make sure I mention it to the dr.? Thanks, Tamara
