I talked to my new and improved VSO last week, he was supposed to talk to the DRO this past monday. I forgot to call him on monday. Last week I also sent a Iris inquiry in about my upcoming DRO Hearing. I got a Iris answer back saying I was getting a DRO Review I blew my top. I said tell him to rate the case. Now its pins and needles time till I…

Unbelievable . . .
I live in Idaho. My file remains, at my request, at my old RO, in VT. About 3 wks ago I submitted a claim for DMII, certified, return receipt, to my VT RO. Yesterday, I received a form letter from the Idaho RO that they've received my claim, blah, blah, blah. I called and asked what claim - I've never filed a claim in Idaho. He checks and with a little research figured out that they(VT) saw my return address of Idaho and forwarded it to Idaho to process. He confirms that my c-file remains in VT, where it's flagged as "sensitive," meaning only a supervisor can access my file. We decided Idaho should return the claim to VT. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! They must have me conf…

What Do I Need To Do?
I have been fighting with the VA to grant me service connection for head injury. The VA insists there was no head injury. The VA says, April of 06 “There is still no medical evidence of a chronic disability related to military service” I have a statement of fact stating I did slip and fall while in service, although this person was not there he remembers me telling him of the event. (I never claimed anything else) I have my physiologist request a head scan because I told him I hit my head severely. The VA used this CT head scan as evidence to connect me with MDD, 50%. WHAT AM I TO DO??????? Now I know why Vets would just go and live under a bridge!

Attack On Sc
Reading VAwatchdog I see there is a article on how vets are getting compensation for conditions that are minor and possibly age related. I think the Bush administration has been gearing up to attack many conditions as not really SC related. At the same time they are saying support the troops they are trying to undermine service connection for a host of conditions. The Watchdog is alerting us to this attack on our benefits that is coming from the VA and the administration in an attempt to reduce the budget in the wake of all the new claims from Iraq vets.

Beginning To Worry
Just called the VA, said my calm filed (12/05) for bilateral rathopathy & carpal tunnel went to the board 3/6/07. It had went to the board once before (Mar 06) and then the board sent it back and asked for a physical. The physical was in Nov 06. I know from a copy of the exam they are going to deny the carpal tunnel (less than likey) but the exam for bilateral rathopathy was (at least as likey as not). I am already 10% for arthritis in my wrist and 10% for trauma to my shoulder. Can they take that away??? Its taking so long I'm starting to worry they maybe up to no good. Has anyone ever had a claim take this long????
