How Do You Locate Your Post Of Earlier Days
I have gotten moved and had the movers place my large computer in storage and am attempting to post with my granddaughters notebook. How do you locate post that you have posted earlier? The Appeals Management Center state that the rating team has reviewed my claim and that I have been in the over-flow since March 7.Does anyone have any ideal of how long my claim can be in that status? It sure turned out to be a long 30 days from what I was told. Thanks, Josephine

Appeal 50% Dro Rating Or Apply For Increase In Rating?
After a long, 3 year process and one really cruddy C&P exam, I have been granted 50% sc disability for mental illness through the DRO process. The check has arrived (and been cashed) and I’m in the process of sending in the other paperwork (marriage license which I sent with my original claim, insurance, trying to figure out how to set up direct deposit – again, this info went in with the original packet but I’ll spare you that rant and try to stay on topic). However, after reading the rating decision and talking with my DAV rep I see very clearly that I fall in the 70% rating. Even though there were notes from a couple of the 70% factors, most of what was in the…

Dav Wants Their Claimants
http://www.vawatchdog.org/07/nf07/nfMAR07/nf031607-1.htm Aint this the craps? The DAV is probably pressuring VA Nursing Home vets to sign the petition right this minute- I almost wish they still held my POA- so I would get this letter- and then reply to them as to where they could stick it- The DAV is spending more time and energy to knock down this attorney for vets bill- then many of their SOs ever spent on a claim- If all of the vet orgs had consistently given us ample representation with a full knowledge of VA regs and case law- we would not even need this right to become a law.

Sc'ed For Two Conditions
I just got SC for two conditions secondary to DMII. If I had not read the VBM I would not have known to file for the conditions. The conditions are related to arteriosceloris in my legs which is a no-brainer for DMII. The problem was revealed during a CT scan for another problem. I was denied my CUE at the VARO level. I think it is very hard to win a CUE at the VARO level. They will just deny and tell you to appeal. They don't want to admit to a very costly mistake Now I have seven agent orange related conditions. This is worrisome and I wonder now many other RVN vets have AO conditions they don't know about?

Iraq And Afghan Vets
After reading story after story about these brave young guys and gals in which they are losing their homes, cars etc........... My opinion is this is really a DoD problem vs a VA problem. Why are they not being kept on active duty until their claims are processed? Maybe they are but that is not the way I understood it. Why in the world would the DoD rip away their full salary (full but not equal to their civilian pay for reserve and guard service members)and kick them to the outside of the gate before their VA benefits had kicked in? If this is not being done then DoD should be blasted instead of VA (only for compensation stuff as DoD is taking its licking for medical …

New Evidence
On 3/13/07 I had a swollow study done [va] in connection with residuals for treatment of throat cancer It was like a video x-ray where i swollow various textures of food while x-rayed Stricture was quiet evident and the pill they gave me would not go down, pudding went down ok. The doctor said it was the result of radation therapy. I have a working claim that is close to a decision. [filed 6/06 ] Is this good enough for an increase ? Is there anyway to have it considered with current claim or do i start all over ? Just don't feel my current claim is strong enough as it stands and time is my enemy!

Letter From Md On Service Illness
A doctor I knew while in the military sent me a letter that states, "I had a degree of inappropriateness and lack of professional decorum, experiencing paranoid ideation and emotional upheavel ranging from joyfullness and elation to dispair accompanied by uncontrollable weeping at work and at home. It is my professional opinion that the individual has a long-standing history of somewhat debilitating clinical depression, manifested by a degree of paranoid ideation and bipolar features with significant mood fluctuations which interferred with his job performance. Unfortunately, due to the intense work atmosphere, the individual was neither identified as being impaired, n…

Does Va Request Recent Medical Records?
While waiting for the initial rating, does the VA request the recent medical records from the VA med center for routine doctor visits, or is the veteran suppose to request copies of medical records from each doctor/provider visit and send it to the VARO for the C-file? Thanks, Jangrin
