Where Was Ao Sprayed
New system tracks Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam Between 1961 and 1971 U.S. military forces in Vietnam dispersed more than 19 million gallons of herbicidal agents, including more than 12 million gallons of Agent Orange. A large number of the American men and women who fought in the Vietnam War were exposed, but the health effects still are not fully known. Now, as part of a study at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health (MSPH), researchers have developed a geographic information system to accurately estimate these exposures—analyzing the relationships among herbicide spraying, geography, population, and troop location. The study, led by Dr Jeanne …

Letter To The Va
This letter is in response to the letter (xxx) I received dated September 19, 2006. I am working on obtaining additional evidence to submit in regard to this claim as per your request. This has been complicated by not receiving records I have requested from the VA. I attempted to obtain medical records from the National Records Center in June 2006. I was notified that the Records Center cannot provide me with copies of those records, as they are in the possession of the VA. On August 10, 2006 I filed a VA form 3288, requesting copies of my service medical records (including my discharge physical), and as of this date I have not received such records requested by th…

The Rating Board
I have been told that my claim has been sent to the rating board. Does this mean it has been approved. I asked for a ro review of my claim. I have been turned down 2 times for my increase soc and a ssoc. both denied. but those 2 times it never went to the rating board. now i have new evidence and i think it is going to help. so if it goes to the rating board is there a good chance they are going to increase my rating. i went to a c&p for my claim that was in oct. iris report said it was going to the rating board 45-60 days for descion.

Injury Not Documented In Smr
How important is it to actually have documentation of a specific incident in your SMR in order to get SC granted. I was wondering because once I get done with all this lung cancer stuff (which will probably take forever) I want to start on some of the other things I found in my husband's file. He claimed SC for right shoulder problems - which he said occured when playing softball on team for the Air Force. The exam DID show problems with his right shoulder. However, they said SC was denied because his service medical records did not note any specific complaint of problems with his right shoulder. BUT he filed the claim PRIOR to his retirement. He entered…

Can Major Depression Be Sc To Dmii?
Good Day Everyone, Does anybody have information either case law or BVA decisions where Depression w/mood has been granted as a secondary to DMII, especially with veterans with heart, PN and unable to work due to DMII and secondarys. What do you think are the chances of being able to claim and win? What evidence would be needed to support this claim for a rating? Thank you, Jangrin B)

This was my first C&P ever at VA. Vets here have told me in the past that the Tinnitus alleged counts as an informal claim because I had filed my 21-526, original claim. Any opinions available ? ptsd Tinnitus Proof?!
Aside from my appeal I filed a claim for tinnitus and also a claim for gerd, hiatal hernia, barretts esophagus & insomnia, all secondary to my PTSD disability. I got the VCAA letter today and of course the letter asking for more evidence if I have it. I already sent them proof of the PTSD, letter describing my combat and the unit I was in and locations, docotrs proof of tinnitus and doctors proof of gerd, hiatal hernia & barretts esophagus. I had nothing from a doctor verifying insomnia. All I had was a letter of explanation from me. My questions are how do I prove daily combat noises caused the constant ringing in my ears other than my word? Also, will that be en…
